One of New Order's more iconic songs (although aren't they all?) True Faith was arguably their long overdue commercial mainstream breakthrough when it was a Top 5 hit single in the summer of 1987. Famous for its video (often cited as one of the greatest ever made) but also with an intriguing lyric. Is it about drugs or alienation? Or both. Time for an AI deep dive I think.
