2001

Another golden age of pop music hits the charts. Dido and Feeder become the first big stars of the new year, but the Reality TV era kicks off in the spring as the first Popstars series creates a brand new (hopefully) all-conquering pop act. Shaggy sells millions and tops the charts twice and the year ends with Robbie Williams taking on Sinatra and also landing one of the biggest hits of his career.
